Eclipse Is Ready To Dominate The World This Week

Eclipse looks to lead the way this weekend and has already broken the box office record for best post-midnight opening with a stunning $30M+ on Tuesday night from 12:01am and 3:00am shows beating the previous benchmark of $26.3M set last November by the last film in the Twilight series, New Moon. It was also a big leap ahead of last summer's big Tuesday night post-midnight debuts of $16M for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in late June and $22.2M for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in mid-July. The Last Airbender: I've heard and read lots of bad reviews on it already, nevertheless I hope that the movie is still considered 'watchable' at least. My prediction Eclipse will hit at least $130M mark while The Last Airbender probably $30M this weekend.

The third chapter in the "Twilight" franchise. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob—knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.
