Dark Knight In Theaters This Week 17 July

The wait is over! 'The Dark Knight' most anticipated sequel to 'Batman Begins' finally makes it debut today with my expectations it would break the USD$100million barrier as the box office weekend champion this week. Christopher Nolan the director of 'The Dark Knight' - I've sensed his talent which I can said 'totally awesome', fresh ideas, gripping and intensely made when his film 'Memento' was shown back in the year 2000, all the critics giving 'two thumbs up' for it. Even in 'Batman Begins' and 'The Prestige', his work is totally outstanding and very classy. Adding on the flame for the audiences to flock in to cinemas worldwide this week is the undeniable 'Heath Ledger' for his potrayal as 'The Joker', other star power includes: Aaron Echart, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Maggie Gylenhaal and Gary Oldman. Christian Bale with director Christopher Nolan, the pair seen by many as making the best Caped Crusader film ever with 2005's 'Batman Begins' will bring 'The Dark Knight' into the newest height hope to beat the record debut of Sony Pictures Entertainment's "Spider-Man 3" in 2007, which reached $151 million. Sony Pictures is part of Japanese electronics company Sony Corp.
Mama Mia! The new musical drama from Universal Pictures will also opens this week. Abba fans heads up ok, hits including "Dancing Queen," "Take a Chance on Me" and "The Winner Takes It All" are all on the movie. With star power of Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, this movie is going to do well [haha..since last year musical of 'Hairspray' which stars John Travolta can also easily hit USD$100million].
My predictions this weekend 1) The Dark Knight USD$105million 2) Mama Mia USD$35million - Ibrahem.S

In the new film, Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets.
