X-Files In Theaters This Week 24 July

Ten years after the first "X-Files" movie -- and six since the conclusion of the iconic TV series -- FBI agents Mulder and Scully return to theaters on Friday with "The X-Files: I Want to Believe." The movie itself considered a routine criminal thriller movie. I do feel that the X-Files will be a week contender for this weekend. "The Dark Knight" will definitely still winning the race. It hauled in another $18.4M on Wednesday raising the six-day tally to a stunning $222.2M [as on Wednesday 23/7]. Probably by Sunday "The Dark Knight" will crack the $300Million mark. My predictions this weekend 1) X-Files: I Want To Believe USD$25million - Ibrahem.S

In grand "X-Files" manner, the film's storyline is being kept under wraps, known only to top studio brass and the film's principals. This much can be revealed: The supernatural thriller is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show's most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the always-complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits.
